The Post Graduate Program in Applied Economics at Federal University of Ouro Preto (PPEA-UFOP) invites interested professors to apply for a selection of visiting professor for academic and research position (teaching, supervision, research and other activities of academic-scientific nature) at the PPEA-UFOP (Master level).
UFOP’s International Office receives applications for a notice to hire a foreign visiting professor
The International Relations Office (DRI) of the Federal University of Ouro Preto (UFOP), considering the provisions determined by CEPE Resolution 7.708 and PROPPI Public Call Notice 18/2023, makes this Call Notice aiming at the selection of foreign professors or researchers as Visiting Professors.
The Teaching Mobility Incentive Program for Strengthening of Research and Graduate Studies at UFOP (PMD-PPG) aims to support training activities for UFOP Permanent Professors and Visiting Professors to increase the quality of research, scientific, technological, and cultural production, as well as literary, philosophical, and artistic activities at UFOP.
Foreign professors or researchers who meet one of the requirements listed below may apply:
Senior Visiting Professor 1: (PVS1 - Equivalent to Full-Time Professor): holder of a doctor’s degree for at least 16 years and must demonstrate that he/she meets the requirements for a Productivity Scholarship in Research or Technological Development Level 1-CNPq around the proposal, or recognized performance in management for internationalization.
Senior Visiting Professor 2: (PVS2 - Equivalent to Associate Professor IV): holder of a doctor's degree for at least 10 years and must demonstrate that he meets the requirements demanded for Productivity Scholarship in Research or Technological Development Level 2- CNPq in the area of proposal, or recognized performance in management for internationalization.
Applications will be accepted between October 30th and November 12th, 2023 by filling out the registration form available at the Call Notice.
